
Kristen Anne Bell was born July 18th, 1980."1" She is an American actor and singer. When she began her acting career as a stage actress at the Tisch School of the Arts, New York University, Bell made her Broadway stage debut in The Adventures of Tom Sawyer. She also appeared in the Broadway revival of The Crucible the year after. Then, she appeared in the action thriller Spartan (2004). She received praise for her portrayal of Becky Thatcher in the Adventures of Tom Sawyer. The following year she made her Broadway debut in a revival of the Crucible. The role that she played in the 2014 movie was changed and it was revived for the 2019. Bell was on screen from 2007 to 2008 in the role of Elle Bishop in Heroes, which was a drama about superheroes. Bell was the voice of the character's narrator on the teen drama series Gossip Girl. She will reprise her role in the sequel set for 2021. Bell also played Jeannie van der Hooven, the female lead in the Showtime comedy series House of Lies. She also acted as Eleanor Shellstrop in the NBC comedy series The Good Place. This part was nominated for the Golden Globe Award. In addition, Bell played the lead role in the streaming series The Woman in the House Across the Street from the Girl in the Window.
